I got email that reported 30% of “evangelicals” surveyed agree with the statement “Jesus was a great teacher, but he was not God”.
And I admit, after 15 years of teaching freshmen, not too many things shock me when it comes to what people don’t know about religion, including their own.
But that one I wouldn’t have believed …
Maybe the respondents thought it was a trick question …

Very many now do not know what to think in regard to faith questions.. we live in times when faith is not taken seriously in school or college for one, and revelation of the Person of Jesus comes from the Spirit who is absent in many cases,

To me it sounds like a communication problem, honestly. If this were some company’s brand, the company would be looking for a new marketing manager, and a new ad agency.
