A Call to Worship (based on Mark 1:9-15)
Let us turn away
from noise, from hurry, from rage to win
what does not last.
Let us turn towards
a voice from the wilderness
proclaiming good news.
Let us make room;
let us make time;
let us wait on the Spirit that whispers “beloved.”
Let us worship God!
Now after John was arrested, Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near, repent, and believe in the good news.”
