Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (B)

Call to Worship [Based on Psalm 30]

Come, extol the Holy One –
Who draws us up and heals us –
Who restores us to life –
So that our souls may praise God!

Come, extol the Holy One –
Who weeps with us in sorrow
Whose presence is consolation and hope and joy
Who turns mourning into dancing
So that our souls may praise God!

Come, extol the Holy One –
Let us sing praises and give thanks
Let us sing praises and not be silent
Let us worship God!

You have turned my mourning into dancing;
you have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
so that my soul may praise you and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever.

Psalm 30:11-12
