Forbearance

Forbearance

People who miss you, but understand why you needed to be where you were instead.

All those lessons, and all that practice: how to keep quiet when whatever you were about to say was neither necessary nor kind; how to let things be ways other than yours; how not to have to have a good time in any and all circumstances Philippians 4:12 to feel the joy.

Clarity about what matters most, on the days when you show up, and go along, and lend a hand, and listen, because the day calls for that, and because God loves you, and so do I.
