Call to Worship [Based on Mark 12:28-34]
This place is not far
from the kingdom of Heaven;
Together we come closer to loving God
with all our hearts, all our souls, all our minds, all our selves;
Together we come closer to loving people –
one another, and even ourselves –
as God loves people, made in God’s own image;
Come closer to what is good!
Let us not be far from the kingdom of Heaven!
Let us worship God!
When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.”
