A Call to Worship
(based on John 12:1-8)
How do we show someone important to us how we feel –
how important they are?
What can we do, to show love?
What can we do, to honor
the greatest good,
the purest truth,
the most surpassing beauty,
the kindest friendship?
We understand the longing
to pour out something precious,
to share in the lavish gesture,
to bring beauty to grace.
What else can a person do?
Let us worship God!
The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
