A Call to Worship
(based on Luke 19:29-40)
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest!
This morning, we are called to the joy of contemplation of those mighty acts, whereby God has given us life, new and eternal, through Jesus Christ.
Let us worship God!
As he was now approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen, saying,
Luke 19:37-38
Blessed is the king
who comes in the name of the Lord!
Peace in heaven,
and glory in the highest heaven!”
