Twenty-ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time (C)

Call to Worship (based on Jeremiah 31:31-34)

Something within us draws us here,
drawing us together …
awe that urges praise …
joys that urge thanksgiving …
wrongs that urge cries for help …
woes that urge reaching out for comfort.
The need for God on our hearts draws us here,
draws us together …
Let us worship God!

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the HOLY ONE: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
