Call to Worship based on John 4 and Exodus 17:1-7
O come, let us sing to the HOLY ONE;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
In the wilderness, God was a rock of life-giving water;
In the wilderness of the world, Christ gives living water;
Let us give thanks to the One who quenches thirst.
Let us worship God, who gives the water of life!
Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”
