A Call to Worship based on Psalm 130

We come here from the deep places in our lives
To worship the God of deep life.
From depths of delight, or depths of disappointment,
Bearing the regrets and the gratitudes from the bottom of our hearts,
To worship the God who listens deep,
Whose steadfast love is unfathomable,
Whose salvation is a wellspring of hope
The Spirit calls and out of the depths we answer:
Let us worship God!

Out of the depths I cry to you, O HOLY ONE.
